Foundation foods is locally owned and proudly made in Canterbury. For more than 20 years we’ve been passionate about making the best fresh stocks and glazes for discerning chefs and cooks alike. Using classic recipes with traditional open kettle methods our chefs craft exceptional stocks and glazes so you can begin with the best foundation for outstanding dishes.
Where possible, we source our ingredients locally. We have no added salt and are all natural with no additives, preservatives or added gelatine. Our ingredients are from fully traceable NZ farms and sustainably manged New Zealand fisheries and we use only the freshest vegetables. We draw pure artesian spring water.
