We started the Upcycled Grain Project to play our part in minimising waste, reduce our reliance on new resources and make great tasting snacks!
We found that when brewers, brew beer they steep barley grains and utilise the liquid from this but discard the grains. Turns out, these grains are naturally SUGAR-FREE, full of FIBRE and PROTEIN. This is why we began rescuing these and adding them to our Upcycled Grain products.
