Fruit Compote

Ingredients

  • 280 g (10 oz) frozen fruit (see flavour suggestions)
  • 100 g (31⁄2 oz) caster sugar
  • squeeze of citrus juice

Method

Put all the ingredients in a pot and heat on low until the fruit has become mush and has reduced by half. If it needs help becoming mush, use a potato masher to give the fruit a quick mash to make it mushier. Cool, then store in a jar in the fridge.
