Chocolate Thick Shake


  • 1 medium banana, peeled, chopped and frozen
  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • 150g (6oz) fresh spinach
  • water from 1 large, young coconut, (about 250ml or 1 cup)
  • ½ cup cacao powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup


Combine frozen banana and blueberries in a food processor or blender. Process until coarsely ground.

Add spinach and coconut water then pulse until well mixed.

Add cacao powder and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
