Aunty Maureen's Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt 
  • ¾ cup West Coast Baking Cocoa 
  • 200g butter (soft) 
  • 2 tsp baking soda 
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla essence 
  • 3 cups self-raising flour 
  • ¼ tsp salt 
  • 1 cup very hot Ozone Coffee Roasters coffee

Method

Preheat oven at 170 degrees celsius.

Put all ingredients into a large bowl.

Beat using electric beaters for 1 minute.

Pour into prepared cake tin.

Bake for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
