Three generations of the Bray family have shaped Airborne’s cultural roots. From 1910 until now, each generation has built on the company's spirit of no compromise. In fact, this is at the heart of its philosophy and culture today.
Now Airborne Honey buys its honey from beekeepers—from the top of the North Island to Bluff at the bottom of the South Island. We select our partners carefully, taking responsibility for every step of the process—from hive to supermarket.
Airborne Honey prides itself on its craftsmanship. In these days of mass production, the honey is still processed using a batch system. The company takes great pride in the product it makes.
One of the things that people want to know about honey is that it is what the label claims it to be and great care is taken to take samples of each and every batch and analyse these in the company’s own laboratory to check for quality, and consistency.
