At Kiwi Quinoa we are proud to call ourselves the leading producers of quinoa in the country.
Our quinoa stands out from imported quinoa: it is grown using sustainable farming methods and is not processed or polished as it does not contain bitter saponins found in most other quinoa varieties. The end result is a whole, unadulterated grain which has a rich, nutty flavour and is exceptionally versatile in the kitchen. At Kiwi Quinoa we believe this adds to what is already a truly amazing food.
Kiwi Quinoa can be found on menus across the country and is stocked in most major cities and a growing number of provincial health food retailers. It was recently featured in a menu by Chef Peter Gordon for Barack Obama when he visited New Zealand in March this year.
