Ripe stonefruit and citrus aromas combine with hints of toasty oak, leading to a silky and elegant finish. Perfect with seafood or pasta made with rich, cream-based sauces or with roasted chicken. Already enjoyable, this wine will continue to improve over the next 3 to 7 years.

ALTO DEL CARMEN - 40º Reposado - pisco

ALTO DEL CARMEN pisco - The Latin Spirit... Alto Del Carmen, a premium multiple gold medal winner with high world wide demand and with an entirely hand made production. Made from Muscat grapes, hand picked. Distilled twice in copper kilns and then aged for a minimum period of 2 years in new French oak barrels. On the Nose: Floral, lemon and sweet with hints of toasted oak, On the Palate: Fresh, clean and round and crisp. Some of the medals won are as follows. 2017 Awarded 90pts by Cameron Douglas MS Awarded Gold by CWSA Best Value awards 2016 Awarded Double Gold at the CWSA Best Value awards Awarded 88pts Wine Spectator Awarded 4 stars by Wine Orbit This crisply styled, refreshing wine has a wonderful combination of lime, passionfruit and gooseberry aromas with a hint of minerality – typical stylish Sauvignon Blanc! We love to drink it with seafood and pasta dishes and delicious summer salads. While this wine is ready to drink now, it can also be cellared for around two years.


Aging in French oak barrels for 9 months adds complexity, and notes of roasted hazelnuts, almonds and cinnamon. Medium to full body, with notes of plums, caramel and toffee. Intense and deep red garnet in colour. Flowery notes of violets and jasmine, ripe red fruits, like plums, cherries and chocolate morello cherry. Be sure to try this fruit driven, concentrated wine with grilled red meats, lamb, ostrich, wild boar, duck, pork and strong cheeses. AROMA: Profile of ripe fruit, such as plums, black cherries and small floral notes. Good balance of oak, highlighting vanilla and chocolate. PALATE: The palate is intense, with a long finish with lingering notes of fruit. Sweet tannins. Good balance of tannic structure and acidity.


AROMA: The nose is quite expressive and intense, full of black fruit and spices, where blackberries, plums, blueberries and pepper stand out, perfectly combining with subtle notes of vanilla and blond tobacco. PALATE: In the mouth, it is a round wine, with good concentration and volume, ripe fruit, soft tannins, rich acidity and a persistent finish. Ideal to accompany risotto, baked lean meats, game birds and ripe cheeses. To be preferably served at 17ºC. AROMA: This wine displays an expressive, complex bouquet, full of fresh fruits such as raspberries and cherries and ripe fruits like plums and blackberries, which blend perfectly with the tobacco and vanilla notes produced during barrel aging. PALATE: On the palate, this is a fruity and well-integrated wine, displaying good structure and body, and mature and round tannins, which give way to a long and persistent finish. It can be enjoyed immediately or stored for three to five years. Ideal for accompanying red meat, wild game birds, venison and semi-hard cheeses. Serve at 17 to 18°C. AROMA: Very intense Cab, full red fruit aromas, berries, cherry, cassis perfectly mixed with sweet vanilla and soft smoke notes. PALATE: Fresh mouth feels medium body, slightly rich, soft tannins and long pleasant finish. Wine for many moments. Perfect with beef, lamb, pork, duck, game meats and cheeses. TASTING NOTES Richly perfumed and balanced. The nose shows berry fruit and dark cherries interwoven with roasted almonds, hints of violets and sous bois. The palate adds savory and spice notes, and is framed by finely-textured tannins and well-balanced acidity. The lengthy finish reiterates the flavours and elegantly rounded textures that lend this wine generosity. We expect this wine to age well for five to ten years after release. 14.2% alc. Vegan friendly. WINEMAKING Grapes were harvested by hand, primarily de-stemmed and crushed (about 5% was included as whole bunch), and placed in small open-top vessels. Fermentation was performed by native wild yeasts. Once dry, the wine was pressed and placed in French oak barrels (22% new) to mature for eleven months. Malolactic fermentation occurred naturally in barrels. The wine was bottle


Gato Negro's Rose is pale pink colour and fruit driven. AROMA: Strong fresh fruits notes of strawberries and plums. PALATE: Refreshing and with a perfect acidity that enhances the fruit notes with a smooth sweet finish. PAIRING: Ideal to pair with smoky meats, quiches, pork, ham and spiced food like Mexican and Thai. Great as appetizer. Best serve at: 10º - 12ºC
