This year we are introducing Auckland to a unique variety of brown rice created and grown locally where we live in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. A cross between an Ancient Black rice variety and Japan's most predominant Koshihikari Rice - it has a unique flavour and high nutritional value. The Auckland Food Show will be the first time it has been outside of Japan.
Like last year we will also have our favourite Chemical Free Brown RIce - of a high quality that is rarely available outside of Japan. We are also working to bring in a unique fermented sauce that has become a staple in our house as a match for BBQ food, and vegetable dip among other things - more to come soon!
