Trade Aid makes it possible to eat great chocolate and do good for the world at the same time.

Our commercial factory in Christchurch is now supplying Trade Aid shops and stockists nationwide with our range of fair trade, organic chocolate.
We are the world's first fair trade organisation to manufacture 100% fair trade organic chocolate. Our chocolate is suitable for vegetarians, contains natural antioxidants and is soy free. With compostable packaging this is a unique and highly recognisable range, clad in the art of Auckland designer Tina Yu to reflect the places of the world where the ingredients are grown.

For nearly a decade, New Zealand organisation Trade Aid has imported cocoa from a farmers' group in the Caribbean. The cocoa, regarded as one of the world's finest, is now made into luxury chocolates in their recently opened Christchurch based factory. Trade Aid have just released three new milk chocolate flavours that join the popular 70% cocoa dark chocolate range.

Coconut Oil

Natural and nutritious, this oil is made from the first cold pressing of fresh coconuts grown by small-scale farmers of Fair Trade Alliance Kerala in India. A smooth, sweet and versatile oil with a fresh coconut taste. Perfect for cooking, baking and body care.

Desiccated coconut

This fine grade desiccated coconut is grown by small-scale farmers who are members of Fair Trade Alliance Kerala in India. Sweet, fresh and aromatic, this desiccated coconut is perfect for use in baking or savoury cooking.

Coconut milk

This rich, smooth and creamy coconut milk is made by small-scale farmers who are members of Green Net in Thailand. It is perfect for use in curries, smoothies, baking, soups, sauces and desserts. Many customers say it is the best they have tried!
