Rawhiti Manuka Honi started 7 years ago in The Bay of Islands. We began beekeeping with a goal of creating a Honeybee Sanctuary. 160 fruit trees & 100 natives later we evolved into Micro-Farmers. Our small block supports 4 beehives, 16 chickens, a dove, a dog, kefir culture, wild rabbits and 4 humans. Our Micro-Farm is managed organically.
Our Natural Lemon & Ginger - Manuka Honey 10 + Syrup is happily made in Northland.
Ingredients: Fresh ginger & lemon juice with manuka honey 10+. An intense flavour that warms you up or creates that perfect summer drink. Makes 5 litres more or less. 500ml bottle. Contains no added flavours, colours or preservatives. "Natural" Each serve contains a 500mg dose of Vitamin C. Make a simple sorbet by blending a golden kiwifruit with syrup to taste, chill down in freezer until firm- quick & very yummy!
Our Northland Manuka Honey contains 47mg/kg of Methylglyoxal and is certified as a raw honey. Our beehives are managed using Demeter bio-dynamic beekeeping standards. Good on toast, best on its own. A taste of history.
