Michelin-starred chef, ex-Masterchef judge, and former Gordon Ramsay right-hand-man Josh Emett has recently been opening restaurants throughout New Zealand.

His chain of casual Malaysian restaurants, Madam Woo, is serving up fabulous food in Queenstown, Dunedin, and Takapuna, with another branch opening in Hamilton soon. In this demo, Josh prepares Asian dishes inspired by the Madam Woo menu, including Sui Mai, Hawker Rolls, and Squid.

Culinary legend Ray McVinnie helps you enjoy your time in the kitchen by building up a repertoire of great recipes that you can feel relaxed about making. In this demo, he’ll show you how to make an easy tomato and cheese tart, roasted beef fillet with soft boiled egg and anchovy dressing, and a quick dessert of fruit with tamarind.

Fun, accessible, and tasty Asian cooking

Chef, author, and award-winning cooking school founder Sachie Nomura is here to make authentic Asian cuisine accessible, fun, and simple.

In this scrumptious demonstration, Sachie will kick things off with Crispy Vietnamese Prawns with Green Rice Flakes, followed by Thai Fish Pie, which draws inspiration from the humble Kiwi fish pie and the Thai dish Tom Ka Gai. And for dessert, check out her healthy and delicious Chia Coconut with Sweet Mango.

Former Masterchef Judge and internationally respected chef Simon Gault gathers ingredients and techniques from around the world and infuses them into delicious dishes that are sure to please.

This demo combines simple techniques, wonderfully rich flavours and classic Kiwi ingredients to create 4 dishes: Clam Chowder, Clams in Kiwi Horopito Tomato Sauce, Mexican Marmalade Chicken and Yuzu Chocolate Mousse.

Robert and Cindy will prepare Raw Salmon with Ginger and Soy Sauce Dressing, ‘Ota Ika’ with mango and mint, and iced ‘Koko Samoa’ smoothie-style drink using fabulous Samoan-grown cocoa.
