Over the Moon is an adventurous boutique cheesemaking company that uses the world's finest ingredients to make exciting new dairy products, while paying homage to the great traditions of cheesemaking internationally.
We make premium cheeses and through onsite training run by our sister company the New Zealand Cheese School, we equip the nation's industry to do the same.
We are a small business, making around 12,000 kilograms of cheese a year, and have a big commitment to developing and promoting New Zealand's dairy offerings by tapping into international research, development and innovation.
Situated in a small factory on State Highway 1 in Putaruru in the heart of the South Waikato, Over the Moon is open for tastings , demonstrations and cheesemaking courses.
