Anthony Joseph Vidal journeyed from Spain to New Zealand where in 1905 he built his winery in a Hawkes Bay stable. It was from there he became one of New Zealands early wine innovators.
In 1979, New Zealand's first winery restaurant was opened on the original winery site where Anthony's passion for sharing wine with great food and good friends lives on today and is celebrated by the flame on every bottle of wine.
