As the strongest competitor and following the gripping final episode of MasterChef NZ (Series 2), Jax quickly became an extremely relatable and trusted foodie figure in many homes around the country.

Recognising her national appeal, Progressive Foods Enterprise Ltd, snapped her up and she was selected to become a figurehead and food ambassador for Countdown Supermarkets (the first woman of colour EVER in NZ / Australia).  

Over the last 6 year, this cheeky, energetic and passionate foodie has honed her TV and radio presenting skills, fronting campaigns such as MKR, Smart Shopper, Fresh Stories and most recently the widely received Feed 4 for $15 Campaign.

With 2 best-selling cookbooks under her belt; and the reputation as one of NZ’s favourite foodies, her own regular inspiring website with hints and tips www.jaxhamilton.co.nz, Jax is all about great, seasonal ingredients and reinventing incredible meals from your own stocked pantry, to inspire you and your family.

As a mother and businesswoman, Jax loves to present quick and simple meals that will inspire you to think out of the box; satisfy your family and friends, but mostly to empower you to feel good about creating gorgeous dishes, filling exciting lunch boxes, tricking fussy teenagers by providing food with personality from your own garden, pantry and kitchen.
She began early, cooking for her family of 8 from the age of 7 years old and hailing from East London, with Jamaican heritage, Jax is able to pull on a wealth of culinary skills and knowledge, which she blends with kiwi ingredients, Jamaican personality and English banter.
