In light of the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation, it is with great disappointment, we make the following announcements regarding the upcoming Food Show events.
We have been closely monitoring the advice and counsel of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO), international organisers and professional events associations.
On Monday 16th March at 4pm, the Prime Minister updated the Government’s position specifically advising that mass gatherings of over 500 people should cancel, which applies to this event.
The health and safety of our attendees, exhibitors, and staff is - and will always be - our top priority. We are entirely supportive of the Government’s position – regardless of the importance of events to the wider economy.
Additionally, visitor ticket sales for The Christchurch Food Show 2020 will be refunded in full within 30 to 40 days.
With the COVID-19 situation (and its impact on major events) rapidly evolving, we ask for your understanding and patience. Questions regarding the shows may take some time to be answered, so please bear with us.
