As adventurous young men the three Giesen brothers travelled the world settling in New Zealand, agreeing that Marlborough was the ideal place to grow grapes.
From their first vintage the Giesen brothers created great wines and so the world fell in love with Giesen Estate Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. The brothers are always looking for something new and now craft an extensive range of wines so they offer something for every occasion.
When work is done, the three brothers love getting together with family and friends; sharing a meal, enjoying a wine and celebrating another day. They invite you to do the same.
Wines under the Giesen label include: their flagship, The August; The Brothers range: sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, chardonnay and riesling; and The Estate range which includes their sauvignon blanc, Giesen's remarkably refreshing, unfailingly consistent, eminently drinkable white wine, chardonnay, riesling, pinot gris, merlot and pinot noir.
Cherry, yellow skinned plum, with dark spice notes ranging from nutmeg through to anise. This dry style of Rosé has a purity of acid through the middle of the palate, with great length and a crunchy finish.
Our winemaker and cider expert have teamed up to handcraft this innovative, refreshing spritzer-style blend of hard apple cider and white wine, all made with New Zealand fruit. Sun-ripened pear and fresh apple, with hints of sweet juicy lemons. This delectable unique blend is best enjoyed well chilled.
