Moutai - The National Liquour of China
Moutai is a distilled Chinese liquor, produced in the town of Moutai in South-Western China for over 2000 years and is the most famous liquor in China. Distilled from fermented sorghum and wheat, Moutai is 53% alcohol by volume and is a traditional accompaniment to Chinese cuisine, similar to the way in which sake is drunk with Japanese food or soju with Korean cuisine.
