Alternative Routes to The Food Show
Parking can be a hassle anywhere in Auckland and we are aware that the sheer volume of people who visit the show, specifically on Thursday and Friday (when hospital car parking is not available to the public) can put pressure on the parking availability. To that end we have devised a few alternative options for your consideration.
Car Pooling
Why not speak with friends and arrange to share a car to the show. Sounds simple, but it is an often-overlooked solution.
Bus & Train
For bus and train information check out the MAXX website www.maxx.co.nz for your own personal journey planner. Or for trips from central city - Queen Street to ASB Showgrounds - the bus route numbers are 348, 312, 304, and 328, departing frequently.
The closest train station to the ASB Showgrounds is Greenlane Station. From there it’s a 20-minute walk to the venue. Or you can take a short walk along Greenlane Road to the bus stop, just past the Great South Road Intersection. Bus number 007 leaves every 30 minutes and will drop you right outside the Showgrounds.
Taxi
Get a group of friends together, and cab to the Show! Share the fare and enjoy the many wine tasting opportunities without worrying about driving afterwards. When you’re ready to leave the show, see us at reception and we’ll call one to come pick you up.
