Peter Gordon

Top international celebrity chef Peter Gordon is undoubtedly one of the country's most successful exports.

Peter, who has forged a reputation for innovative fusion cuisine, pushes the boundaries of where one national cuisine starts and another stops. "Fusion cuisine can create the most stimulating meal you'll ever eat," he says.

Whanganui-born Peter has a world-wide reputation. He has award-winning restaurants in London and Auckland, and is a consultant chef in Istanbul. He's authored five cookbooks and contributed to another dozen; is a regular writer for NZ House & Garden magazine, and has acted as a consultant chef to Air New Zealand for more than 12 years.
