Maria Pia de Razza-Klein

Chef, restauranteur, importer & wholesaler of Italian foods and wines. Born in Morciano di Leuca (Lecce) in Italy’s south eastern-most region of Puglia, Maria Pia de Razza-Klein learned how to make pasta as a child in her family’s pastificcio (fresh pasta shop).

From her celebrated Trattoria in Wellington, Maria Pia was chosen to contribute a menu to the bible of Italian cookery–The Silver Spoon - in 2005.

 

 

A staunch traditionalist, Maria Pia believes in simple, natural cooking with few frills and a great emphasis on quality, freshness and seasonality.
