Visit Trade Aid’s stand at The Food Show Auckland 2012 and you’ll find more than just delicious flavours – you’ll feel the rosy glow of helping small-scale farmers in developing countries get a fair price for their goods.
Trade Aid purchases food through fair trade from farmers across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific. Through fair trade practises, these farmers receive a higher income then they otherwise would. This extra income is critical to ensuring their communities can invest in health, education, and environmental projects; not possible through conventional trade.
Trade Aid boasts the nation’s broadest range of fair trade food, selling more than 50 products, including coffee, tea, chocolate, cocoa, oil and nuts, and food packaging products have recently gone through a packaging re-design and re-launch.
Trade Aid supplies approximately 70% of fair trade beans to New Zealand’s coffee industry.
The majority of Trade Aid food products are organic and Trade Aid also cater to the wholesale market with bulk lines.
Trade Aid food products are award-winning and of preminum quality, and will be sampled and for sale at the Auckland Foodshow. You'll find us inside Hall 3, stand # E30.
