Formerly personal chef to billionaire Oracle CEO Larry Ellison, and prior to that, personal chef to Simon Fuller, the chap behind the Spice Girls, Simon is a global culinary superstar who has a remarkable talent for bringing together tastes and techniques from around the world.
Originally trained in New Zealand, Simon worked in the United Kingdom at Leiths Restaurant in London and at the prestigious, Michelin-starred Thornbury Castle.
After returning to New Zealand, he has established top restaurants such as the multi-award-winning Euro Restaurant and Jervois Steak House in Auckland, Bisto Lago in Taupo, and Shed 5 and Pravda in Wellington. All of these restaurants enjoy enviable critical recognition.
As one of the star judges of TVNZ’s Masterchef New Zealand programme, Simon enjoys sharing his boundless enthusiasm for food and cooking with a wider audience.
