“The Winemaking goal at Moana Park is to produce wines showing purity of fruit, are balanced and they must be great value for money” says Dan Barker, Winemaker and Owner. With an increasing demand from consumers wanting cleaner, more honest, natural wines with less additives the focus is on Sustainable practices both in the winery and vineyards, minimal preservatives (i.e. sulphur) and proud to be the only New Zealand certified as being completely animal free (guaranteeing no use of fish, egg, gelatin or dairy).
