Handmade Fine Foods at Ludbrook House stands for taste and integrity . Our core products of preserves, jams, jellies and condiments hold the essence of traditional preserving methods while capturing the flavour and aroma of fruit grown in Northland.
Yeilding the intensity of pure fruit flavours to satisfy the customer who demands and recognises products with great taste and quality is essential to the Ludbrook House philosophy.
From the Ludbrook House orchards we harvest figs, quince, lemons, limes, tamarillos, plums, peaches, loquats and herbs and gather kiwifruit, oranges, capsicum and grapes from local orchards
The Northland long fruit season enables us to manufacture without waste as the versatility of each fruit creates jars of glowing products ready to elevate the spread across the gourmands table.
Winning a Cuisine artisan award in 2009 for Ludbrook House Dessert Figs and again in 2011 for Ludbrook House Pickled Limes has reinforced our determination to remain true to the Ludbrook House mission – ‘true taste made with honesty and integrity’
At the Food Show 2011 we are launching Ludbrook House Fig Paste. This product with its pure fig flavour with a hint of lemon and ginger is an instant winner. With a long shelf life it is perfect with any cheese and along with Ludbrook House Quince paste makes a perfect addition to your cheese platter.
