The Yoghurt Makers are coming to Town!
From the depths of South Canterbury comes New Zealands’s most Natural Yoghurt. Made from the finest pasteurised organic milk from the family farm, processed with the smallest amount of fuss and sold to yoghurt lovers all over the country.
The milk comes hot from our cows from the cowshed next door to the factory. It’s heated (to pasteurise), cooled and the culture added. Then we fill the pots that you see at your local store. Yoghurt is that simple. No sugar, no milk powder, no nothing, just great tasting milk treated just right! Ohh, and did I mention it’s not homogenised which means the sumptuous cream rises to the top and rewards the “early bird” in the family.
We take pride in the fact we are organic, we minimise the impact on our environment, provide our cows with the highest quality organic tucker and we look after our land like you would look after a small child. It’s all about the mollycoddling really.
You may have seen us sneak another flavour onto the shelf of your local store. Our Cream Top Honey Yoghurt. We’ve simply sweetened the yoghurt with a touch of Organic Clover Honey from our friends at the local farmer’s market, the Huttons. They run top quality hives on organic land all over South Canterbury producing a mighty fine drop of the amber nectar.
We’ve actually been playing around with the honey a little lately and come up with a new flavour to add to our range. This will be premiered at this year’s Food Show along with another creation that, as with all good ideas happened totally by accident.
