Brett McGregor

From Deputy Principal to New Zealand's first Masterchef, Brett McGregor has taken inspiration from his travels and sees food as an experience of another culture, an insight into flavour and how surroundings mould our culinary world. He is also inspired by his family as he strives to create fresh healthy options the whole family can enjoy.

As his recently published book demonstrates his cooking is tasty, fresh and easy. This food philosophy translates to everyday Kiwi kitchens, where he also demonstrates the use of seasonal ingredients to keep tasty, fresh meals affordable.

Favourite ingredients stem from travels as the smell and taste of pantry staples such as lemongrass, kaffir lime & fish sauce instantly transport him back to the beach in Thailand.
